History

Elastobras was founded in Curitiba in 1995, starting with a small number of compression presses. It was among the first companies in the state of Paraná to install rubber injection machines, and injection has been the main process since.

Extrusion was added later, producing hoses and profiles, and today runs three lines. The company has held ISO 9001 certification continuously for more than twenty years, with a scope that covers compound formulation as well as manufacture.

Markets served

Elastobras supplies industrial customers in Brazil and across Latin America. The company has also shipped components to customers in North America and Europe.

Elastobras ships from Curitiba, in southern Brazil, with three deep-water ports within reach — Paranaguá, Itapoá and Itajaí — and an international airport in the city for air freight when lead time matters more than cost.

We ship regularly to customers across South America, and have supplied to Europe and North America.

Modernisation programme

Following K 2025 in Düsseldorf, Elastobras started a structured modernisation programme covering process stability, productivity and automation.

In 2026 the company is participating in the IHK Exportakademie Partnering in Business with Germany programme, including three weeks in Stuttgart in October 2026. We are using it to evaluate injection and LSR technology, tooling concepts, automated deflashing, machine-vision inspection and part handling, and to exchange experience with European elastomer manufacturers.
